A group of community leaders put their heads together several years ago and said: we need a Farmers Market. Kingston Springs and the surrounding area is home to a number of small and medium-sized farms, and many folks in the area raise chickens for eggs, tend to hives for honey, and practice the time-honored practices of canning and baking. In addition, we have makers of every sort of hand-crafted item, from wood products and jewelry to dog treats and natural products for the home and bath. The Kingston Springs Farmers Market quickly became the Kingston Springs Farmers and Artisans Market and it continues to grow every year.
The Market runs each Saturday mornings from late May through the end of August.
In addition to the fresh local food, yummy baked goods, and beautiful crafts, we want to make our Market a fun place to sit and enjoy the day. We host live music, and fun events each week (as well as a food truck or two) with a goal of making our Market a little festival each Saturday morning during the season.
