Public Works Position - Full Time

This position primarily involves outdoor labor and duties include but are not limited to; operating various types of heavy equipment including weed eating, trimming, and mowing, cleaning of facilities, trash removal, equipment maintenance, sewer maintenance and other miscellaneous duties required for upkeep of the town. General knowledge of construction tools and equipment as well as safe work practices are also required.  This position will be required to assist other public work employees during inclement weather and park employees with other various duties as needed.  Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions, superior team work, and excellent customer service will be expected.

Applicants must have transportation, a valid driver’s license and be in good physical condition. This position is for 40 hours a week with flexibility for the occasional after work hours.  Experience is preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.  Hourly position with benefits, salary based on experience.  Town of Kingston Springs is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Applications will be accepted at Kingston Springs City Hall through October 19, 2018.
